If you must submit it at a later time you can create a word document and include your name, position applying for, and how and when you will expect to turn in your driving record in the word document. Save the word document as: First Name_Last Name_Driving_Record_Delay. Then upload the document to your application under the driving record question. In addition to submitting your application, please email Human Resources (email@example.com) as soon as possible if there will be any delay in obtaining your driving record so that we may keep the status of your application active.

If you live out of state or currently hold an out of state license, please order a copy of your driving record from the state you currently hold your driver's license with. The cost of the complete non-certified driving record in other states may vary. Please refer to the state DMV you hold your license with for cost information.

Personal Support Coach 1:1
Hourly Salary: $11.06 Hourly
Job Type: Non Exempt Part Time
Shift: Monday - Friday 8:30 am to 3:15 pm
Hours per pay period: 67.5 hours bi-weekly
Location: Spring Dell Center, Inc., La Plata, MD
A part-time position (33.75 hours per week) is available (Monday – Friday, 8:30 AM – 3:15 PM) for an interested applicant to support a young man who just graduated high school. In the short time we have known him we have learned that his favorite activities include music, dancing, and other sensory stimulating activities. He likes to use his hands and while non-verbal he is able to let you know what he needs. He is very curious and energetic. He enjoys sharing fun times with friends and new experiences in the community while learning and engaging in active events. However, he does prefer having a routine that flows each day and will need the direct attention of his support staff.
Preference will be given to an applicant who can demonstrate the abilities to communicate with him by learning his body language because he does not speak, be creative with other communication devices, organized, motivated, and able to encourage him to experience and try new experiences in the community. The successful applicant for this position will be a self-starter, have the ability to schedule community experiences and activities as well as provide assistance in vocational exploration/endeavors that are of interest to this young man. The applicant will also need to be independent with problem solving and working independently as they assist him to achieve his personal, social, and vocational goals in the community, not a facility setting. An ideal employee will serve as an active role model that welcomes new opportunities, some possible challenges, and embraces the chance to enhance this young man’s life experiences. The applicant should demonstrate the ability to be routine oriented, observant, but prepared when a situation warrants a quick change.

Duties Include but not limited to:
Implementing person centered goals for this young man
Assisting this young man with monitoring/documenting his progress
Assisting him with his personalized plans
Supporting him in planning activities that promote interest for employment, volunteering and events; all in the community
Supporting him with identifying other needed supports to be successful in the community.
Supporting him with a schedule of supports in the community 5 days per week
Supporting him with monitoring his health, hygiene, and safety.
Qualifications and Skills
Ability to lift 50 lbs. or more.
Clean driving record with 2 years driving experience.
Basic Computer Skills.
Experience working with disabled adults preferred.
High School diploma or GED.
